Venture into the theatre
The key word for this festival is “accessible”. The theatre, so often considered elitist, is here for all to share.
A new adventure begins in 2011 with this festival. Longer, more anchored in the city he will propose 31 representations of which the creation of Britannicus. The big top will be installed Place Vival.
Some names make us dream : Julie Depardieu, Marie-Christine Barreau, Geneviève Page, Ludivine Sagnier, Jean-Louis Trintignant, Les Deschiens...
Festival AFRICAJARC
A journey into Africa along the river Lot.

What’s happening in the Lot valley ? Djembé drums, singing, ... it’s Africajarc that has taken over Cajarc. Four days of festivities which bring together musicians, authors, artists and actors who all share a common love of African culture. A time of exchange and contact between two worlds full of the promise of humanity’s shared artistic talent.
Artists such as Salif KeÏta and Alpha Blondy come back to enjoy the fraternal atmosphere of shared talent.

Comic Strip Fair – “La B D prend l’air”

During one weekend, fans of the comic strip meet in Cajarc
The opportunity to have your book autographed, to visit original exhibitions, the bookshop, the children’s area. The public can vote for the “The golden Saffron” awarded to their favourite author.

Saffron Festival
Cajarc (mid October)
During the week preceding this festival, visits to the saffron farms are organised.
Saffron is given place of honour for one weekend.
This event allows saffron growers to present and sell their products.
Amongst the delicacies that await you : jams, honey, cheeses .....
The best-known chefs in the Lot department also organise their Saffron menu.
