Situated along a “puech” (isolated hill) on the Causse de Limogne, Puyjourdes retains the atmosphere of country life
The houses have been renovated in keeping with the village, the rural constructions preserved – blacksmith’s cattle stock, communal bread oven, wayside crosses, and the constant presence of water with wash houses and wells. The paths around the village inevitably take you past a dolmen, dry stone walls and shepherds’ huts.
