Situated 10 minutes drive away from Figeac in the Lot valley, between the Lot, Aveyron and Cantal departments,
Capdenac Gare owes its existence to the development of rail transport with a major hub set up in 1858 sending trains in 5 different directions : to Brive, Toulouse, Rodez, Cahors and Aurillac.
Activities : boat trips on the river Lot, walks. The buildings in the town reflect the spirit of the 19th and early 20th century architecture.
Every year in June the festival “Derrière le Hublot” organises street theatre events.
